*Jurisdictional Attendee (government employee) room rate:     $129 per night plus tax

*Associate Attendee (non-government employee) room rate:    $165 per night plus tax

*Please note that room blocks are monitored to ensure that the right attendee type is in the correct room block. Attendee's reservations will be modified to the correct block.

The SALGBA 2011 Annual Conference room block will close April 11, 2011.

 SALGBA 29th Annual Conference Housing Policies

SALGBA reserves a limited number of guest rooms for attendees of the SALGBA conference. When attendees book outside the SALGBA room block, or book rooms in advance on the chance that they will attend, only to cancel later, SALGBA is placed at high risk of paying attrition on the cancelled rooms. Due to the economic climate as well as this abovementioned risk, SALGBA respectfully asks attendees to stay at the conference hotel. Thank you in advance for your participation.

FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: 15 Miles
Taxi: approximately $45-$50 one-way

MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT: 32 Miles 
Taxi: approximately $75-$80 one-way

SUPER SHUTTLE SERVICE from Miami: (fees apply): 24-hour service to hotel. Guests should go to the Super Shuttle station located at the Van/Limo booth directly outside of the lower level baggage claim area near curbside pick-up.  Blue vans with yellow lettering say Super Shuttle.
Major car rental agencies are located at the airport.
